cool gadgets

One of the definitions of “technology” given in Webster’s Third New International Dictionary is “the totality of the means employed by a people to provide itself with the objects of material culture” (1872). Modern technology includes e-mail, cellular phones, conference calls, fax machines, computers, pagers, and video conferencing. Technology is apparent in every aspect of life. It has changed everyday living dramatically, both in positive and in negative ways.
Nowhere is this more evident than in the world of business. Everything from decision-making to human resources has been affected by new technology.

gadget is a small[1] tool such as a machine that has a particular function, but is often thought of as a novelty. Gadgets are sometimes referred to as gizmos.
